I’m not a professional model/I don’t have any experience, will you photograph me?
Of course! Most of my clients have never had a professional photoshoot experience before. Let alone nude or in lingerie. Whether you are just looking for some fabulous photos for yourself or/and significant other, are new to modelling or looking to enhance your current portfolio, I would love to photograph you!
I'm plus-size, will you photograph me?
Absolutely! At the Goddess Studio, we believe that sensuality and body positivity are for every body, regardless of size. We have extensive experience working with clients of all sizes, from size six to 32 and beyond. Our goal is to celebrate your unique beauty and create stunning images that make you feel confident and empowered. Join our diverse and inclusive community, where we embrace and celebrate all body types. I'd love everyone to experience the joy of being photographed by me.
Have you worked with black women?
Yes, of course we do, probably 50% of my clients are black women. We take pride in our ability to capture the beauty of black skin and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. Our client base is incredibly diverse, and we are committed to providing an inclusive and empowering experience for all. At the Goddess Studio, you will find a safe and welcoming environment where your beauty and sensuality are celebrated. Some say we're like the sensual boudoir version of the UN, and I'm very happy and proud about that.
I'm over fifty and not feeling confident, will you photograph me?
Absolutely! We have had the pleasure of photographing many women over the age of fifty, and I understand that confidence can sometimes waver with age. However, I believe that confidence and sensuality are timeless. Our intimate portrait photography sessions and #bodylove nude sessions are especially popular among women in this age group, and we have seen incredible transformations in their confidence and self-love. We celebrate the beauty and wisdom that come with age, and we would be honored to capture your sheer fabulousness in our images. So embrace your confidence and let's create stunning photographs that reflect your inner beauty.
Will I need to do my hair and make up before the shoot? /Do you offer professional makeup and hair styling for the shoot?
If you are confident with your own hair and make up to a reasonable standard (boudoir & modern pinup) I can guide you to achieve the best look for the camera. Body Love nudes only require the minimum of natural or a no-makeup look.
If at all unsure! Yes I have professional hair and make up artists on hand who will pamper and help you achieve your desired look from (virtually) makeup free or a makeup free look, which is fine for our embodiment and bodylove sessions up to full soft glam with lashes. Whatever you are after, we will help you look how you desire and feel comfortable.
Should I bring my own outfits/lingerie to the shoot?
Yes, the session is about you and what you love (to wear) Bring your favourite dress and lingerie to the shoot. We want you to feel at your most confident and empowered. Outfit Ideas. And don’t forget a photoshoot is the perfect time to go lingerie
shopping. I've even made a list for petite
and curvy
women. I do have robes and accessories available to compliment your selection, everything will be discussed in the pre-shoot consultation.
What if I forget something?
I usually send an email before your session to remind you. Even so, even models forget things occasionally, so we’ll also have items on hand such as spare stockings, holdups and heels as well as a box of accessories too, to ensure your day goes smoothly.
Should I eat before my shoot?
Yes! I want you to feel comfortable and be able to move as much or as little as you wish. I don’t want you to feel lightheaded at any point or faint so make sure you eat something on the morning of your shoot. Having a little breakfast will not change how you look in your shoot - trust me, just try to avoid any foods that might make you FEEL bloated or uncomfortable.
What should I wear on the day of the shoot?
It’s best to arrive wearing loose fitting clothes and it helps you to feel in a relaxed mood. Make sure to skip anything that may leave an impression on your skin, such as tight bra straps, watch belt, tight jeans or anything else you think might show up (Especially if you have sensitive skin that marks easily). I do have robes you are welcome to wear during your hair and make up and outfit changes.
Should I get my hair/nails touched up before the shoot?
Yes! Do touch up the basics such as your hair colour a week before the shoot (if it’s dyed), make sure to shave/wax everything you wish 1-2 days prior to the shoot if possible and have your nails freshened up. If you decide to use fake tan, please make sure to do this 2-3 days prior to the shoot. It’s also important to moisturise before a shoot to make sure your skin looks at its best before you come to the shoot. (you're welcome to bring your favourite moisturiser with you). This will only ensure you to look & feel even more fabulous.
Can I bring a friend to my session?
I have no problem at all with you bringing a friend for support. Most clients don't. Those that do, some have been brilliant hype women, a couple of times, they have been very distracting and negative. And I've been told more than once by clients, they felt embarrassed to go ahead with spicier and more intimate poses in front of their friend. So if you do decide to, choose someone you'll feel 100% comfortable with, and more to the point they'll be 100% comfortable with what you are doing. :). For similar reasons I'd also advise against bringing a partner into the studio. If you really want to bring a partner, I recommend booking a couples session (Minimum session applies) or at least an hours add-on together at the end, otherwise they could get really bored of waiting downstairs.
Will you come to my home?
Absolutely! Many clients are super comfortable with boudoir and erotic photography in their own homes, the familiarity of the surroundings can make some feel especially delicious. Some prefer to give themselves distance from family life, either way, whichever option you feel good about. And I'm really good at moving furniture and putting it back if needed.
My gear is fully portable, and if there's parking available I can bring even bring extra bits like backgrounds, props etc.
Where is your photography business based?
Our photography studio is at our home on the border of Walthamstow and Leyton in North East London. United Kingdom. I can also travel into London Central, Greater London or the surrounding counties of Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and at a pinch Norfolk. East Sussex. Travel cost may apply depending on time and distance. Any more than a two hour drive would likely involve an overnight stay and additional cost.
What is the access like to your studio?
The main studio, makeup room and bathroom are up a standard flight of stairs. If you feel this could be a struggle, or you're a wheelchair user we can hold your photoshoot at your home, we love house calls :), or a location of your choice. I have an estate car, so I can bring my portable lights, photographic backgrounds and materials if required.
YOUR PHOTOS & PRIVACY
Do you offer photo retouching?
I do spend time to edit images to suit the mood required. Yes, I do offer some minimal retouching as part of the package.
I don't do excessive air brushing or body shaping unless requested by client (at additional cost per photo, so far only one client has asked for this).
How can I view my photos?
I offer an online portal for you to view your photos or you can view your photos with me in person to discuss.
Will my photos end up online or on display?
Your privacy is important to me! I use a secured online portal which is password protected and only you and I will be able to access the photos during the selection process. Once you have ordered your final images and printed products and the project is complete, I will delete your images immediately from the server, and from our backup discs within a year, unless you've given express permission for us to keep and use them for marketing and portfolio purposes.
Can I share my photos on social media if I want?
Absolutely, if you are proud enough of your photos to want to share them with the world, we will be proud to be mentioned.
Can I take selfies?
Of course. Some selfies are definitely allowed, and generally encouraged, as long as it doesn't disturb the flow of your session, so you can stay focussed, just check with myself and/or the hair/make-up artist prior to posting to any form of social media.
PAYMENT & DEPOSIT
Do you offer a price plan?
No, but stage-payments are perfectly fine and seem to work well so far. See below.
How much is the deposit?
I request a minimum £120 non refundable booking fee to secure your photoshoot date. The rest of the session fee to be paid in full before the day of your booking. Additional high res edits, albums and wall art to be paid for in full at time of ordering (or in parts until fully paid then I will place the order).
What if I can’t make that day?
If you cancel up to 2 weeks in advance you can put all your paid funds toward another shoot date. Under two weeks I can return all your payments minus the non refundable £120 booking fee as we most likely won't be able to rebook the date at such short notice. A new £120 deposit will be required to schedule a new shoot date.

If being photographed with your partner/s is what makes your heart sing. Do it, book a couple/s boudoir session. Please add £120 per person requiring Hair and Makeup. You can be as modest or sensual as you like in your sessions, erotic means different things to different people so it's best to chat about what you want. I can change up shoot styles to suit personal requirements. If you're happy to image share, we can arrange a similar package to our ambassador/model packages or day rate for commercial clients.
Do you shoot commercial work?
Yes! I was a creative director in advertising for over 25 years so I fully understand the requirements of commercial clients. I often work to a day rate, and supply the images unedited. (Edits are additional cost per image), from fashion products to wellness or personal branding, depending on your requirements. Please contact
me to discuss.
